This dog food and/or water bowl is based on research by Alfred Crompton at Harvard University, which found that dogs completely immerse their tongues while eating and drinking. This is also the reason your dog often spills water and can’t eat cleanly from their bowl. The cup bowl prevents this with its high, splash-resistant rim.
